Watermelon

The watermelon is now in season. The sweet flesh comes in shades of red and sometimes, yellow! It has only 40 calories per cup, because it is mostly water. Full of antioxidants, they are a great source of Vitamins A and C. The refreshing thirst quenchers are one of the best summer fruits that won't hurt your figure. Cold watermelon is a great alternative to ice cream on a hot summers day, and a great addition to fruit salad!


Tomatoes

Tomatoes are good for you and your waist line! Rich in Vitamin A, C, potassium, and beta-carotene, this fruit is nutritious and delicious. Tomatoes are a great source of fiber and will make your salad look more appetizing and filling. They make a great low fat snack alone or with a dash of sugar! A medium sized tomato will fill you up with only 35 calories, so stock up on the juicy fruit while its on season this summer!
